These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of RealKonnect, our website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By registering for an account, you agree to:
- Comply with these Terms and all applicable laws
- Provide accurate and truthful information
- Be at least 28 years of age
- Use the Service for lawful purposes only
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our Service.
2. Eligibility
To use RealKonnect, you must:
- Be at least 28 years old
- Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
- Not be prohibited from using the Service under any applicable laws
- Not have been previously banned or suspended from RealKonnect
- Be legally single or divorced (not currently married to another person)
3. Account Registration and Security

When you create an account, you agree to:

- Maintain and update your information as needed
- Keep your password secure and confidential
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Be responsible for all activities under your account
3.2 Profile Verification
RealKonnect may require profile verification to ensure authenticity and safety. You agree to:
- Submit verification documents if requested
- Allow us to conduct background checks (with your consent)
- Cooperate with our verification process
3.3 Account Suspension and Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:
- You violate these Terms
- Your account is used for fraudulent or illegal activities
- You harass, threaten, or harm other users
- You provide false information
- We determine it's necessary for safety or legal reasons
4. User Conduct and Prohibited Activities
4.1 Acceptable Use
You agree to use RealKonnect respectfully and responsibly. You must NOT:
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Harass, bully, stalk, or threaten other users
- Share sexually explicit, obscene, or offensive content
- Promote violence, hate speech, or discrimination
- Solicit money or financial information from other users
- Use the Service for commercial purposes without authorization
- Attempt to hack, scrape, or disrupt the Service
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent bans
- Share another user's personal information without consent
4.2 Content Guidelines
All content you post must:
- Be appropriate for a dating/matchmaking platform
- Not violate intellectual property rights
- Not contain malware or harmful code
- Comply with all applicable laws
5. Matchmaking Services
5.1 No Guarantee of Results
RealKonnect provides a platform to connect users but does not guarantee:
- That you will find a match or relationship
- The accuracy of user profiles or information
- The conduct or intentions of other users
- Successful outcomes from connections made
5.2 User Responsibility
You are responsible for:
- Your interactions with other users
- Verifying information provided by matches
- Meeting safely in public places
- Reporting suspicious or inappropriate behavior
6. Payments and Subscriptions
6.1 Pricing
Some features require payment. Prices are displayed in the app and may change with notice.
6.2 Payment Terms
- All payments are processed securely through authorized payment gateways
- You authorize us to charge your payment method for applicable fees
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
- You can cancel subscriptions anytime from your account settings
6.3 Refund Policy
- Refunds are granted on a case-by-case basis
- Services already provided are generally non-refundable
- Contact support for refund requests within 7 days of purchase
6.4 Free vs. Paid Features
Basic matchmaking is free. Premium features may include:
- Unlimited matches
- Advanced search filters
- Profile boost
- Priority support
- Counseling sessions
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 Our Content
All content, features, and functionality on RealKonnect (including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio, video, software) are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
7.2 Your Content
You retain ownership of content you post. By posting content, you grant RealKonnect a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:
- Use, display, and distribute your content on the Service
- Show your profile to potential matches
- Use anonymized data for analytics and improvement
7.3 Restrictions
You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission
- Reverse engineer or decompile the Service
- Remove copyright or trademark notices
- Use our trademarks without authorization
8. Privacy and Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
9.1 Service "As Is"
RealKonnect is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Merchantability
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement
- Uninterrupted or error-free service
9.2 User Interactions
We are not responsible for:
- The conduct of other users
- Content posted by users
- Offline interactions between users
- Disputes between users
9.3 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RealKonnect and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of profits or revenue
- Loss of data
- Personal injury or emotional distress
- Damages arising from use or inability to use the Service
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months or $100, whichever is greater.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RealKonnect and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any rights of another party
- Content you post on the Service
11. Dispute Resolution
11.1 Informal Resolution
If you have a dispute, please contact us first at support@realkonnect.site. We'll work to resolve it informally.
11.2 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria, without regard to conflict of law principles.
11.3 Arbitration
Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria, in accordance with Nigerian arbitration laws.
11.4 Class Action Waiver
You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis and waive the right to participate in class actions or class arbitrations.
12. Termination
12.1 By You
You may terminate your account at any time by:
- Going to Account Settings and selecting "Delete Account"
- Contacting our support team
12.2 By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if:
- You breach these Terms
- We're required to do so by law
- Providing the Service becomes impractical or unlawful
12.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your profile will be hidden immediately
- You lose access to the Service
- Your data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy
- Paid subscriptions may be forfeited (no refund)
13. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. When we do:
- We'll update the "Last Updated" date
- We'll notify you via email or in-app notification
- Material changes will be effective 30 days after notice
- Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
14. General Provisions
14.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, along with the Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, constitute the entire agreement between you and RealKonnect.
14.2 Severability
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
14.3 No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right.
14.4 Assignment
You may not assign these Terms. We may assign them to an affiliate or in connection with a merger or sale.
14.5 Force Majeure
We're not liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (natural disasters, war, pandemics, etc.).
